Mantshele Tau: Blending Business with Purpose — The Puri-Hydrate Story

TYPG team shares a moment with Jabulani Old Age Home’s dedicated nursing staff.

South African entrepreneurs will converge at the Proudly SA Expo on 16–17 March at the Sandton Convention Centre, where innovation, networking and proudly local products will take centre stage. Among the exhibitors will be Puri-Hydrate, a sister company of Tau Ya Phoka Group (TYPG), which will showcase its ozonated water products under the slogan Pure Water Pure Bliss.”

Mantshele Tau, the founder of TYPG, has been building his business empire since 2007. The company specialises in events management, printing, branding, photography and videography. His entrepreneurial journey reflects creativity, hard work and a commitment to making a positive impact.

Beyond business, TYPG is also dedicated to empowering young people by offering internship opportunities and supporting communities through annual Nelson Mandela Day initiatives.

In 2024, the company donated essential items to 10 organisations across the Greater Tshwane area, including Katlego Old Age Home in Klipgat. Last year, the team spent Mandela Day at Jabulani Old Age Home in Chantelle, where they donated a warm lunch, household appliances and Puri-Hydrate water.

Tau’s philosophy is simple yet powerful: “The blessed hand feeds and clothes. The blessed heart cares and shares.”

Puri-Hydrate products are now featured at high-profile events and retail outlets across the country. As TYPG approaches its 20-year milestone, Tau’s story continues to inspire — proving that it is possible to successfully blend business with purpose.
